Melecia is a Research Associate with the esophageal adenocarcinoma and lung cancer CISNET groups. Her work involves exploring the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of various approaches to esophageal cancer and lung cancer screening, prevention, and management through disease simulation modeling.
Melecia graduated from Smith College in 2008 with a BA in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. She received her MPH with concentrations in Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health from Boston University School of Public Health in 2011.
