Elissa Ozanne, PhD

Senior Scientist
Visiting Professor of Radiology, Harvard Medical School
Elissa Ozanne

Elissa holds a bachelor's in biological sciences, a master's degree in engineering economic systems, and a doctorate in management science and engineering specializing in decision analysis and risk analysis from Stanford University. Prior to joining the Institute, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. Dr. Ozanne also has experience working with leading biotechnology companies in the California Bay Area including Entelos, Inc. and Pharsight, Inc. She also recently completed a fellowship with the ITA's Program for Cancer Outcomes Research Training (PCORT). In 2011, Elissa became an Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery and Institute for Health Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco.

Her research focuses on breast cancer decision-making including clinical decision aids, risk communication methods, cost-effectiveness and risk modeling, and the development of decision quality measures.
