Dr. Bethea received a BS from the University of Wisconsin and an MD from the University of Chicago Pritkzer School of Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and continued on for an additional invited year as a chief medical resident. She is currently continuing her training in Gastroenterology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital with a focus on Transplant Hepatology. Her primary research interests include the use of simulation modeling and decision analytic methods to evaluate organ transplant allocation and resource optimization.
