Dorothy received a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University in 2014. At Johns Hopkins, Dorothy was involved in basic science research at the Wilmer Eye Institute, where she focused on elucidating biological pathways and target molecules involved in diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Before joining the Institute, she worked at MGH Pediatric Surgical Research Laboratories to explore the process of alveolarization in prenatal lung development.
She currently works as a research associate and clinical research coordinator under Dr. Chin Hur and is interested in decision analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, and disease modeling for gastrointestinal-related diseases.
